Van Crowder Shifting to Full-Time ALCE Faculty

After six years as executive director of the Center for International Research, Education, and Development (CIRED), Van Crowder is moving to a full-time position as a tenured professor with the Department of Agricultural, Leadership, and Community Education in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. He will transition to his new role on Aug. 10.

Dr. Sunday Ekesi, a member of the IPM Innovation Lab’s Technical Advisory Committee, has been selected as an Entomological Society of America (ESA) Fellow of the Society for 2021. 

Introducing Chanda Sarder, One of CIRED’s Newest Hires

As a financial coordinator, Chanda Sarder helps address CIRED’s finances, with a special focus on the IPM Innovation Lab. Sarder earned a double bachelor’s in Accounting Information Systems and History and a master’s in History, for which she wrote a thesis on women and the social history of India.
